Women's Retreats

Last year in a fine video, we heard DeWitt Jones encourage us to “celebrate what’s right with the world.” Picking up on that insight, our retreat team will speak of the many things to celebrate in our faith. Both our scripture and tradition tell us that we are called to be people living in joyful hope. Rather than walking the road of life with discouraged, downcast eyes like those disciples on Emmaus road, we can see the Lord with new eyes and live with hearts on fire! Our presentations will consider the movements of yearning, risking, and nourishing in the Christian life that can lead us to truly live in joyful hope!
